Terminator 9/8

Guys, this is a pretty damn good show, for anyone who has been too skeptical to watch. And tonight's episode, IMO, was the best yet.

Thoughts?

SPOILERS

They've already gone over how easily they revert back to their original programming. We can't erase the original configuration, only override it. I was OK with it, and it was clear that only very minor damage (or no damage at all) can cause it.

I completely disagree. Total dogshit if you ask me.

1 the car bomb should have at least turned Cameron's skin into a crispy critter- at the very least she should have been bald from burned hair.

And its not a ******* cosmetic argument, the hummer was destroyed, and burned to a crisp, and she steps out with clothing thats "scorched" with 2 or 3 holes in it, 3 "spots' on her forhead and long flowing, freshly washed hair.

#2, the writers completely blew a beautiful long story arch plot point tonight. The fact that she can turn bad.

I dont mind them doing that- hell it was almost expected. BUT WHY ******* DO THAT IN THE COURSE OF 1 EPISODE?

that could have easily been a 6-13 episode side arch towards the end of this season and/ or could have been this seasons cliffhanger.

Instead, the problem is solved in 1 hour, and effectively that story arch is laid to rest with the "if I go bad again" comment

And how long was the real Cromartie dead? At a bare minimum he was dead for at least 5 days (cant remember how quickly last season progressed)

But you dont think even a mildly retarded medical examiner wouldnt be able to look at the dead Cromarti and say, "no way in hell this guy died in a gun fight 10 hours ago"

I'd have to agree with above. They put too much in to this show. What are they gonna have for the following? John is gonna get all sappy with some girl after cutting off his hair.

I stil like it though!

Uh, I'll suspend my disbelief a little if it means i get to see Summer instead of some charred, bald robot.

I like the plot twists. I would much rather be wondering what is going on with her CPU than watching her hunt them around for 6-13 episodes, and the scene where she is begging for her life was very well done. Good actress.

I like the T-1000, too. Should be a fun season.

The haircutting scene must have been written by a woman. I mean, what guy after a crisis decides to gain control over his life by cutting his hair? I mean, that's a Sex and the City storyline!!!!

I thought after about the fourth episode last year that they were going to toy with the robot-man love thing, and it's going to be very interesting if they play with the idea of where it originated, whether her little "crying fit" was a preprogrammed response designed to suck him in or if it was actually genuine "learning".

Yes, not getting burned up in the explosion was weak, but then, so was the fact that she actually saved them before trying to kill them.

Anyway, it was decent if you dont' spend time dwelling on what was or was not realistic. News flash: NONE OF IT IS!

I can imagine Shirley Manson's agent calling her a few months ago -

"Shirley, I've got some good news and some bad news - the good news is that your getting a part on the Terminator series, the bad news is that you'll be playing a urinal in the first episode"

wife and i watched on DVR tonight......

very suspenseful.

and holy crap, when the FBI agent saw Cromartie at the burned down house......wow, good television

So we going to have any guess into how John killed the guy? Think they'll even explain it?
