BBV, there was another thread that indicated that Ch77 on TWC was going to carry the KC feed. Hence, while some of us will have a much better seat (up close and personal), there is certainly reason to see some try to organize viewing parties...

Given that, however, I dare say 'good luck' to anyone trying to persuade Pluckers to switch over to TW77.

Yeah, per a thead on the Tech board, the KC tv station is making the first day's games available to any interested local stations. TWC picked it up and will show the game on Cable 77. Personally, I'm heading home to watch it. It will be easier on the wallet. Good luck with getting a group together, Stat. Pluckers on 183 and Burnet hasn't had a good track record about putting on the women's games.

You could try "3rd Base" Sports bar off 6th and Mopac....if NOTHING else is on, you may convince them...

Since ThirdBase is on satellite, I don't believe they would have a TWC feed...more likely, someone would have to arrange a home viewing party.

Direct TV guide information shows they will have all of Tuesday's games in the Big 12 tournament. A home viewing party might be your best bet if someone in the group has Direct TV with the sports package.

justa, specifically what channel number on DirecTV will carry Tuesday's WBB games? Positive that our game at 6:00 p.m. will be shown on anything other than TWC?

Per the online Direct TV guide, the Big 12 tournament games will begin at noon on Tuesday with the first quarterfinal game, at 2:30 for the second quarterfinal game, at 6:00 for the third quarterfinal and the fourth quarterfinal game at 8:30. The 6:00 game is on Direct TV channel 643 which is (FSSW) Fox Sports Southwest (also on some of the other regional sports channels across the country but too many to list). Repeats scheduled after midnight. The guide shows that all of the tournament games will be shown during the week with the final on Saturday at 6:00. March Madness indeed!

Well, darnit, I got home and turned on the tv to watch the game and saw that Direct TV had totally revised their schedule and the Texas game was not shown. Sorry I misled everyone. Crap! Oh well, they won. Now the schedule shows their game with Baylor will be televised. Fingers crossed.
