Man we were fortunate to hang on and get this one. When you let a team like that hang around you are asking for trouble at the end but we hung on.

James inability to make free throws is going to cost him a shot at the NBA. You can't have your 3 shoot that poorly unless he's Bruce Bowen. And James doesn't have that kind of defensive quickness. Guy plays so hard it's a crying shame he can't hit a free throw to save his life.

Glad to get this road win. A win is a win, I guess.
Good thing we played Tech though because I don't think todays effort beats anybody else in the conference.

But hopefully this is a springboard to return to pre-conference form.
Tempting, but I'm not giving up.

As the announcers said, a road win in Lubbock is never a given. The ending was just a little too uncomfortable for my liking. This team needs to do a better job of moving without the ball and show a little more intelligence with < 5 minutes on the clock.

I hope Balbay's injury is not too serious, but I'm pessimistic.

Barnes said post game that Balbay's injury appears serious. He mentioned the fact Balbay had a fairly serious injury to his other knee previously, Balbay knows what a serious knee injury feels like, and Balbay said he felt something pop.

I think he may be done for the year.
