Tech game--Pittman hurt early

Went nearly the entire first half with 3 starters gone with fouls or injuries, and still leading by 7. Let's not panic.

He was. Chapman and Hill did some good things, even if both missed some shots badly.

Hamilton, boy, I don't know. Back to poor shot selection, no defense, and even missing free throws. He did get in to fight for offensive rebounds, so that was something good, but overall, not a good showing from him so far.

I suspect Brown has paid his penance and will get more time in the second half.

Wow can't believe team is up by 7 considering Balbay is gone, Pittman was injured most of 1st half, Brown is not playing today (I guess), and Chapman, Hill, Wangmene all have played much more than usual.

Texas should roll in the 2nd half with James back and one of Bradley of Hamilton catching fire.

Did anybody else see the Texas bench standing up applauding the play of Chapman/Johnson . . . but Pittman sitting on the bench moping? I'm just amazed how useless he has become.

Need to see more Chapman in the 2nd half.

Good start to the half. Pushed the lead to 12 early. Hamilton attacking glass with defense having to concentrate on keeping Pittman and James away. Total board dominance so far.

Tech cuts it to 8, lob to Pittman who fakes instead of taking it straight up. Cohadarevic takes the fake, then grabs and pulls at Pittman's back. Intentional foul called. Tech called on Pat Knight. 4 free throws and ball.
