Tech at TCU tonight Oct 11

What we learned:
- TCU was overrated going into the season.
- Tech's defense is improved, but still average (less than average against the run).

Tech gets a breather next week (Kansas) but then it's at Iowa State and then home to ou and Texas. Then at Kansas State and finishes at home with Baylor. There are 3, if not 4, losses left for them. If they lose 4 (and end up at 6-6 with 5 of the 6 conference losses) that might be enough to throw Kingsbury out.

I'm not entirely sure we learned that about the Tech defense. TT gave up 411 yards to TCU last night. UT gave up 372 yards to TCU with the benefit of playing them at home and their starting QB playing the entire game as opposed to a third team QB making his first start. A little ball control by Tech would have helped their defense substantially.

UT vs TT in Lubbock might be an interesting one this year.
