My mother, my cousin & a best friend all died from ALS. I HATE that ******* disease with the heat of 1,000 suns. It destroys the body, but it can't touch the mind or soul. God bless Mongo & his family. I'm very happy the HOF didn't wait too long to induct him6.

Thanks anyway, I just thought it meaningful for one of his teamates to wear that shirt.
Knowing You went to the trouble of donating is just as meaningful.

Tough to see, but his bears teammates are standing by him.

It breaks my heart to see anyone in such a helpless condition. Although I never truly knew Steve McMichael, I was blessed to spend my four years at UT during the same four years McMichael was there. I recall that Coach Royal recruited him as a tight end and he came to Austin weighing 225. Him and Bill Acker were buds from Freer and by his senior year McMichael was up to 270 and benching over 500. To remember him back in those years and to see him now is unimaginable. I pray that at some point he turned his life over to Jesus. Thanks for all who have supported him during these difficult years.
