Tea party Reaches New Low

The tea party's only goal that I can tell is to drastically cut spending and to fight against raising taxes I guess until the spending cuts are made. With that being their goal most are not realizing that this is going to hurt jobs in the short term as many government employees are let go as budgets are slashed. This has been happening over the last year on the local and state level.

In some cases I agree with them. But then the discussion is about what agencies and what government functions you don't want to cut. Certainly a guy like Ron Paul has drastic views here. But I am not going to take shots at the current administration for where the unemployment rate is b/c I realize the economic backdrop that they are working with. I think we are moving in the right direction.

Call me despicable, let see what did I do this weekend:

I took two 12 year old kids and we volunteered at a non-kill animal shelter for two hours. Visited elderly grandparents, watched the Rangers games and had a family BBQ on Saturday. On Sunday got up early, went to church, kids had a soccer game, then we came home had a family meal and watched the Rangers game as a family.

The despicable Tea Party had a rip roaring getting high and arrested type of weekend!!!!!!

Call me depicable all day long, all day long!!!!

I just want the government to stop spending money they do not have!!!!!! If it takes an economy shutdown to do it, have at it, I have to work to support my family!!!!

The overwhelming majority tea partiers do not endorse sinking the economy or throwing job opportunities away to give BO the middle finger. Finding some obscure view point of the minuscule minority to generalize the movement is ridiculous.

That would be like saying the OWS are all a bunch of nazi's hell bent on ridding the world of gays, jews and other minorities.

your Tea Party crazies are leading an effort to keep businesses from hiring needy Americans out of work. Deal with it.

I don't know if you have a job satch but i can assure you that nobody in my industry is influenced at all by anyhting the tea party says or does and my industry is about the only one showing growth without government assistance.

You called me despicable and crazy. Now you want to try and influence me? I would love to have a discussion based on mutual respect and common courtesy, none of which you have shown.

It's a need you have and if you don't get it met positively, you'll get it met negatively. Because it's a need, it will get met.

Satchel, I rarely post, but your plight is utterly pathetic. Telling someone they're not open to influence. I see no such courtesy from you in the slightest.

Even though I may not agree with everything Prodigal says, his posts are right in line with my thinking here. If you want to make claims, be willing to discuss and back it up with your thoughts instead of insults and name calling.

It's really a pathetic effort to sway peoples opinion. If you wanted to really make an impact, then perhaps first you should consider listening to peoples concern about the constant lack of substance in your posts.

You swore off reading my posts months ago. You even went so far as to enlist the support of other posters to help you "ignore" me. And here you find yourself. Still reading me, still hating and exhibiting the very behavior you find so unbecoming in me. How can I help you?

There you go calling me crazy again......I am going to have to go see a therapist to make sure that I just want the Federal government to stop spending money they don't have.

Maybe a little responsiblity with the money they do spend?

That is all we want......

I was watching some footage of what I thought was Greece only to find out it was Oakland California.

For those you missed why so many here are upset, here's a recap:
Grifter Judson Phillips and his for-profit Tea Party Nation is at it again.

Tea Party Nation posted a grandiose and overwrought-sounding “Call For A Strike of American Small Businesses Against The Movement for Global Socialism” by Melissa Brookstone, naturally beginning with an Ayn Rand quote. What does Melissa want? Melissa wants people to stop hiring other people. She wants business owners to make like monks and climb on pyres and set themselves alight. Don’t hire anyone, is her message as she makes like a fascist of the 20′s railing against “international bolshevism.” And, of course, Occupy Wall Street is again a target:

“I’m on strike!” – Ellis Wyatt, from the end of the movie “Atlas Shrugged, Part 1″, based on the novel by Ayn Rand,

Resolved that: The Obama administration and the Democrat-controlled Senate, in alliance with a global Progressive socialist movement, have participated in what appears to be a globalist socialist agenda of redistribution of wealth, and the waging of class warfare against our constitutional republic’s heritage of individual rights, free market capitalism, and indeed our Constitution itself, with the ultimate goal of collapsing the U.S. economy and globalizing us into socialism.

Resolved that: President Obama has seized what amount to dictatorial powers to bypass our Congress, and that because the Congress is controlled by a Progressive socialist Senate that will not impeach one of their kind, they have allowed this and yielded what are rightfully congressional powers to this new dictator.

Resolved that: By their agenda and actions, those in our government who swore oaths to protect and defend our Constitution have committed treason against the United States.

Resolved that: The current administration and Democrat majority in the Senate, in conjunction with Progressive socialists from all around the country, especially those from Hollywood and the left leaning news media ( Indeed, most of the news media) have worked in unison to advance an anti-business, an anti-free market, and an anti-capitalist (anti-individual rights and property ownership) agenda.

Resolved that: These same factions expect that, by carrying out a radical anti-business agenda, which includes the passage and inflicting of ObamaCare” on our nation, class warfare and redistribution of wealth, and expanding the government, while killing businesses in this country with an environment hostile to business, including excessive regulations (the average business must now spend about $11,700 per year per employee to comply with government regulations!), and by borrowing and wasting more money than has been spent in the entire previous existence of our republic, that they will “create jobs”, when in fact all they have “created” have been government jobs that consume wealth, and don’t “create” it.

Resolved that: Our President, the Democrats-Socialists, most of the media, and most of those from Hollywood, have now encouraged and supported “Occupy” demonstrations in our streets, which are now being perpetrated across the globe, and which are being populated by various marxists, socialists and even communists, and are protesting against business, private property ownership and capitalism, something I thought I’d never see in my country, in my lifetime.

I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

I hereby declare that my job creation potential is now ceased.

“I’m on strike!
