TCU-Georgia Title Game Thread

#84 looks like he should be President of the Chess Club and not catching touchdown passes in the championship game.
We might need to scour the halls for chess players!

I guess I was going to be happy no matter how this game came out. I would have been happy for TCU to play well or win, but there is satisfaction in seeing them destroyed, too.

Dude has hands - watch him catch the ball. It’s beautiful. He’s an example of hard work beats talent…

He’s fast, runs good routes and catches anything he can touch. Sort of like Shipley. I’d love to have him playing receiver.

TCU is a classic example of a team letting the event becoming too big for them. GA is playing their best game and TCU is flat snd totally out of sync. No way these teams are that far apart. I never liked the “we did not want to be there” hayseeds and don’t ever intend to like them.

I expected the Frogs to make a better showing after they beat Michigan. Georgia is a lot better than I thought they were. Like a machine!

Bennett may have had a tough time growing up. Many of us did. He is not humble but a little too cocky IMHO.

Just my .02

Quick Poll: how many of you have worn a WWE-like shoulder pads with spikes rig to a football game?

Anyone? Anyone?

Is this thing on?

Bueller?

Rumor is Longhorn Catholic, as an adult, wore those WWE spike shoulder pads to a High School game in Texas.... it is only a rumor so you must ask him.

This game makes me want to barf. Turned it off at half time. Now all we’re going to hear is how great GA is — “one of the greatest teams ever.” And if not for a completely blown FG attempt, they wouldn’t even be in this game.

The one consolation: ESPN’s ratings should take a hit.
