Las Palapas is great for fast/semi-fast food.

A fajita with grilled onions and fresh avocado slices that good just shouldn't be sold in a drive through, but I'm sure glad it is. I haven't even been able to look at a Taco Cabana for years.

I was never exposed to Taco Bueno before moving to Dallas. Something about their signage appeals to me. Perhaps it sets my expectations too high. Because every time I eat there I am disappointed with the food.

I always tip at Taco Bueno, but never at Sonic.

So, did they ever open up an Austin location or two, like was promised back in 2006? I heard there was one in San Marcos, but I wanted to get my fix while I'm town for a home game this season.

I heard one opened somewhere down south and that it has 29 cent party tacos. I'm not sure where though.
