Could mean which team put in the higher regional bid before they started. Or maybe they bid again.
Just know I'm having hard time staying positive for tonight. This team is excellent at raising our hopes over and over, and then screwing us in the most embarrassing ways. What could be more disgusting than Aggies beating us twice to end season?
They got us all excited to be a national seed, and then fell on their face when real conference competition started. Winners bracket last week and then bats went to sleep to lose twice. Winners bracket again, bats froze and made sucky Aggy pitcher look like Nolan Ryan. Horrible concentration, energy, and little league type errors everywhere.
We'll see if we have any balls tonight. So far this season they have been flacid during the real moments that counted.
I have more faith in aTm doing what they do best - insert Charlie Brown FG attempt - than I do UT doing what is necessary to win tonight.
As far as hosting a Super Regional if UT & UH win, doesn't it stand to reason that UT is the higher seeded team between the 2 since the committee should send the lower seeded #2 to play a higher seeded #1 (LSU)? Plus, bigger stadium = more revenue . . . seems like a no-brainer.
Of course all of this is pointless if we don't win. Let's go Horns!!
Just read what happens if it's Horns vs. Cooger High. Goes to the big process. Super regional bids were submitted by May 15th. Higher bid of two same seed teams hosts. Likely be in A-town I assume under those rules. Kinda wish we are playing on road. Was going to any of the places anyways.
First things first, perfect scenario for Horns to shite the bed and end the season with even more rotten grapes. Hope I'm wrong but had a bad feeling about last night after a few innings. Feel even worse about it today. Jumping on them with our bats within first 4 innings is crucial. And not just a solo here and there. We have to show we came to hit. Last night entire team looked bored and awful.
Just win baby. Hopefully the baby frosh will be on tonight! Some leadership throughout the team to hit with RISP would be greatly appreciated. Quality fielding and pitching would be great as well.
Then it is on to the Supers if they can take care of business tonight.
