1. If the Pepperdine short stop had a decent throwing arm, the outcome against TCU likely would have been different.

2. The baseball gods were not ready for Duck Dynasty in Omaha.

3. Ole Miss advances to the CWS for the first time in 42 years, and their fans are see chanting "SEC-SEC SEC". Huh??? Given that we have some time before we start play in Omaha, I will dig out my VCR of the series at Ole Miss in 2005, and I will watch it more than once.

4. The Big XII should be pleased with three teams in Omaha. Fortunately, the fan bases that would snark the most about that aren't going to be there.

5. Yes, I had tears of joy in my eyes when Texas won that second game against Houston.

Have to wonder how those gracious NE fans are going to receive our team THIS time. Or how they're going to receive US, for that matter. The BIG flag's all packed and ready to load.

I was reading some at the SEC rant site. They are happy their two SEC teams are in this year, but said that this was the weakest CWS ever, with only 2 of the top 10 teams in, and no LSU. Of course, it is weak, when "you" aren't in it. Nonetheless, these teams will get the same hardware as any other winner. Hook'm.
