Super Bowl

I didn't watch but apparently Terry Bradshaw while trying to interview Andy Reid said "Waddle on over here. Have a cheeseburger " to Reid.
Maybe that was just fat Terry joking around thinking since he Terry is fat it is ok to call someone else fat.

They all need to get over it. This panzy crap in society is just ludicrous. If Andy doesnt like being fat, lose weight. Terry Bradshaw is just being real and thats the kind of stuff that all men used to be able to joke about. Very few men left in the world today because too few will stand up and tell the sissys to go pound sand!

Oh bullcrap! It was way out of place on the podium for the trophy presentation. He made at least 3 fat “jokes” and also jabs about his age. It was totally unnecessary and inappropriate. Nothing manly about it.

I am not sure how this became a "woke"situation to some. It was a matter of civility and respect . Absolutely nothing political about it.

One of the biggest moments in Reid’s life professionally and Bradshaw shits all over the moment with stupid demeaning (unfunny) jokes just because he has a captive audience (Reid being one of them).

Agreed.

Maybe if they were co-hosts on some kind of pre-game show, it would be acceptable banter. There's a time and a place for everything. This wasn't it.

While all humor is at least a little offensive, there's also a difference between being funny and being a jerk. There's grey area there, but some people don't understand there's a difference at all.

Remember the words of that great philosopher Kix Brooks on the Jay Leno show after Leno congratulated him for being inducted into the Louisiana Tech Hall of Fame,

"I was in this huge room that had large photos of others previously inducted. All these famous and really smart people, and I thought 'I am easily the least intelligent person to ever receive this award'. Then I turned and saw a picture of Terry Bradshaw."

Some people will make everything political.

Many of the same people always make themselves into some kind of victim or think everyone's out to get them/ruin everything.

What a difference from 2 years ago - the KC offensive line played excellent this time.

The Philly defender admitted after the game that he did hold the receiver but had hoped the refs would let it slide. Eagles CB James Bradberry on crucial third-down penalty: 'It was holding'

Yep - though I understand why he thought the refs would let it slide, because they'd been letting that stuff slide all game.

On the other side, just once I’d like to see the refs call a false start against #65 in green.

It was funny when one of the announcers said "Some people say he leaves his stance a split second early but you can see here it's just good anticipation" while watching a replay that showed he did in fact leave early.

Very surprised that Reid didn’t go for 2 there. You fail, you’re up by a TD. You make it and it’s a two score game…

I normally don't agree with the "go for 2 to go up by 9 points" logic. I'd rather make the other team be the one to go for 2. Partially because 2xp's are converted at around a 45% rate, and partially because at 7, they know they need 1xTD; at 9, they know they need TD+FG; at 8, they don't know which they need, so they don't know if they need to burn clock or score fast.

But the way both offenses were playing, I suspect 2xp's were closer to a 55%-60% rate, so yeah as the Chiefs I'd rather have been the one making the attempt.

Arizona has just hired Eagles defensive coordinator as head coach, right after Indy hired Philly offensive coordinator for its head coach.

They could have called Suh for hands to the face on every play he was in on. They called it once. His other trick is stomping/kicking people in the balls. They didn't call him for that.

He is putting that Nebraska education to good use.

You’d also have to consider KC up by 7 does Philly go for 2 to take the lead. Hurts is the perfect 2-point conversion QB. In that case, KC up 8 means they won’t relinquish the lead.

It’s a bit ironic. People probably talk more **** about Terry than any other celebrity out there. Meaning jokes about how dumb he is. I’d think he and Reid know each other pretty well so even though it was public, it’s really between them in my opinion. If Reid isn’t offended, then why should I be. Speaking as a bit overweight myself.

Sad to say many grandchildren weren't around for Texas' last NC either.
Hope to see that change soon for both the Boys and the Horns.
