Super Bowl LIX

She

She was apparently booed by fans when shown on the stadium video screen.
At a game in Philadelphia a few years (or decades) ago between the eagles and cowboys around Christmas time Santa Claus came out at halftime on some sort of slay throwing candy up into the stands.

John Madden and Pat Summeral were calling the game. Madden said, “the fans are booing! They’re booing Santa!”

Summeral said, “what?”
I could hear the booing over the tv it was so loud.
In that Madden voice that was sort of excited and astonished at the same time he said, “THEY’RE BOOING SANTA CLAUS!”
Summeral, in his calm even voice said, “Only in Philadelphia would they boo Santa.”
Philly fans booed Taylor swift at the game because she’s a huge Chiefs fan. Philly fans would boo the Pope if he was for the Chiefs

That Eagles defensive line reminded of the old Mike Tyson (or whomever) saying: "Everybody has a plan until they get hit."

Who here believes Jerry Jones can build a roster to compete with the Eagles?

"Snicker"

Commentator after the game. “Eagles did not have to blitz and dominated with their front four, leaving the rest of the “D” for cover. Successful because.,,,you guessed it, No Run Game!
Ummmmm. Familiar to me, at least.

Hello QE.

Except Mahomes is much more mobile than QE, especially this year. On the flip-side, Chiefs D did successfully contain Barkley but Jalen Hurts is a dual-threat QB. Your point absolutely stands and by no means can we expect Manning to compensate for a lack of a legitimate running game with his legs.

Fans from the “City of Brotherly Hate” boo grandma. They are nasty!

yea but then qb run is part of the run game and still needs blocking. Last night I saw a mirror image of a lot of Teas ‘24.

Interesting read form the DMN this morning - Iggles are set to rule the East, maybe for a few years, and the Redskins are on the way up. That would indicate that the Cowboys are pretty much locked into third place in the East, ahead of the Giants. The Cowboys have too many holes to expect to fill them all with this upcoming draft - and because of the horrendous cap hits from Prescott and Lamb, there isn't much available to pursue Free Agents. Thanks to the GM, the Cowboys are locked into mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Agree plus if they want to keep Parsons they will have to pay him mega bucks. Jerry has finally screwed this thing up so bad that it will take 5 to 10 years to clean up the mess once the Jones family takes the money and runs to their boat.

If we had a GM who really understands the game of football, he would trade Parsons for a bunch of draft picks and start the rebuild. If they give Parsons the big bucks, they will be so badly locked into Cap Hell that they can't rebuild before Parsons ends his career. Better to blow it up and start the massive rebuild now - but the current GM will never go for that.
