Not sure about you, but I thought our online was going to better than what transpired last night. Also, Herman still needs to improve his game-making decisions. Oh well, I expect much improvement by end of the year, particularly from our young guys. You will not want to play us in the bowl game.

Warming up for next week.

dudes, I was about to check my self into the hospital. I thought I slept through a week and woke up 8 days later. Don't ever do that again, it's hard on my sanity.

Keep in mind, everyone is undefeated in week 1 and we are going to get a hard shot from La Tech. Winning is all I care about. A close win will probably help us more than a blow out. LSU will begin to take us lightly and our players will be much more prepared for that game.

Imagine how overconfident and cocky LSU would be if we were to lose to LA Tech.* The Tigers would be achingly ripe for a classic sucker punch from the resurgent Horns.

*Not that this would ever, ever happen, except possibly in one of those crazy alternate universes that the quantum physicists like to talk about (like that one where a sinister Mr. Spock wore a goatee). Highly, highly unlikely in our universe. I just threw that out for the sake of conversation. And to kill some more time until kickoff, of course.

Ok, I’ll play.
1. What was Beck thinking on that third and two when called the slant route as Ingram was averaging 6 yards per carry. Damn near cost us the game.

2. I swear I could tackle better than (insert a linebackers name here). In high school as a senior...even though I was third string, behind a freshman , and rarely played when I did play.. once actually , at least I could tackle.

3. (Insert DB name here as well), what the hell is Orlando doing!!! He really needs to look at putting in Overshawn in place of that guy. He got burned one time on the out and up.

Well, there’s one thing we can all agree on. It’s all Herman’s fault. Herman should have caught that pass in the end zone. Herman shouldn’t have dropped that easy catch on fourth down. Herman shouldn’t have fumbled that punt. Herman should have blocked better. Herman should wrap up and learn to tackle better. Herman shouldn’t have shanked that punt. I could go on...

Miami and Arizona are not undefeated in week one.. They lost during zero week....You are right about LSU taking us lightly if we struggle vs La Tech, and our guys will be more focused if we have a lot to work on in preparation for LSU.

This kicking game! I swear! The coaches need to put an ad right now in the front page of the Daily Texan for anyone who: (1) was a kicker or punter in HS, or (2) is a good soccer player. Heck, we might even poach our womens' soccer team for a serviceable kicker or punter.
