Suck Super Bowl

The Packers/Patriots would have been so much more interesting from the story line aspect. Yesterday's games were collosal duds. I guess the weather affected all four teams. Seemed like none of them played at a very high level.
You never know, maybe the Giants will give the Pats a game, but I doubt that the Patriots offense will look like they did on Sunday two games in a row. I think it was the cold weather, and if they click in the Super Bowl, the Giants can forget about it. 45-17 team with ugly logo.

Seriously, no one else is excited about the opportunity to see an undefeated team close the deal? Whether they win or lose that is exciting.

Sorry in advance of my Cheesehead depression. I'm so upset about the Pack's loss that it's just melted into a bland ballpark queso. There is nothing I can post here that can be of value. I'm in shock. This is sick and wrong. I didn't post last night because I was depressed/intoxicated. No Green Bay Super Bowl.

Brett comes back.

I probably still won't watch the game, but recent developments are turning me into a (very temporary) Patriots fan. I have a Giants fan at work who is making himself about as obnoxious as he can over the Giants' recent run. Of course, he IS a Yankee, so I guess he can't really help it. Nevertheless, I am now hoping that New England squashes the Giants like the little bugs they are.

The best teams won, that is how it works.

Sorry Dallas lost, at least we will not have to hear about Romo and TO for 2 weeks. THANK GOD!!!

I don't know how many people around here care one way or the other for either team. I suppose the big story, and the main item of interest other than watching the generic Super Bowl, is the undefeated season. That is certainly worth following to its conclusion. And the Patriots, when they get rolling are an awe-inspiring team to watch.
Just trying to come up with some justification to tune in other than the beer and chips.
If one or both teams play the way they played on Sunday, the game will truly suck.

when i left vegas yesterday, the line was 13.

if you don't think we won't see mid-season pats in this dome atmosphere, then you're mistaken. i think the pats actually win this thing by 20+. people can claim the pats have struggled as of late.... and i'll point out they kept winning in crappy weather. you can point out pats and their opponents both played in that crappy weather... i'll tell you you're right and neither team played to their full potential. but the better team kept winning.

no team really plays perfectly and at full potential in awful weather. but when the setting is right, a team capable of anything will do just that.

be prepared to watch THIS pats team turn it up.

There's a good chance that I won't be watching this year's Super Bowl and will have to look forward to baseball season. Football's over for me.

Although, there's a good chance that the Astros will be involved in higher scoring games than the Patriots were this year, so maybe not.
