I live very close to the Cotton Bowl and I will tell you that Gate 1 and surrounding parking area is “sneaky good”. I’ve done it all over the last 35 years and this is my “go to” parking spot and entry point! $20 bucks and your a 1-2 half blocks from Gate 1 that is easily the least used entry gate.

My tip:

Order your coupons online. You’ll be sent a voucher electronically, which you then used to pick up your coupons at one of the nine pre-purchase coupon stations around the park. We always enter the Pan Am gate, and there’s one right there. You don’t then have to stand in long coupon lines to be able to get your wax paper cup beer.
