Spring Jamboree

This year's Jamboree falls on the same day as my son's 9th Birthday and his cub scout event. The Birthday party is at 3pm and a Pinewood Derby is at 9am. I think we can do all 3.

As I've never been to or taken him to the Jamboree yet, what should I expect regarding schedule?

Scrimmage kicks off at noon. Are there any events beforehand that he'll want to do? How long should the scrimmage last? How bad is traffic getting out afterwards?

Thanks in advance!

There's a Fanfest outside the northeast side of the stadium, with inflatable rides & facepainting. Scrimmage lasts about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Traffic & parking a little unpredictable, with all the construction.

It falls on my birthday, which I am VERY EXCITED about! Can't think of a better way to kick off my 35th birthday than watching the Horns!!

I took my 9-yr-old nephew with me last year, and he had a blast! They have the inflatable moonwalk, slide, and some other fun stuff for the kiddos. He should enjoy himself. And, happy birthday to your son!!

Is there any informatin on the practice schedule posted anywhere? I wanted to catch a few if possible.

i would like to see some experimental plays with colt and chiles both in shotgun at the same time with a potential direct snap to either

With the new faces on the staff, we can very probably look forward to some new looks in the fall. However, expect the spring scrimmage to be very close to the vest. There is no point in giving the bad guys a preview of anything.

The radio announcers on Sunday's baseball broadcast said -Don't hold us to this but there is a chance that Saturdays Scrimmage format could be changed to more of a game with the team divided into two groups with normal scoring. Anybody else hear this.
