Wish soccer played a basketball schedule (conference home and home each season) rather than a football/baseball schedule. Texas has a better team, but OSU is tough in Stoolwater. I expect a loss this weekend, but they should face again in the tournament which will be a truer guage of both teams.

OSU sports an 11-10-6 all-time record against UT and is unbeaten in its last six matches against the Longhorns (4-0-2) dating back to 2012.

Dang, Texas tied OSU after 2 OTs. Better than losing the last two games but Texas scored both goals. Horns ended up with an own goal after a ball went into their goal after coming a defender's head.

A win would have been much better but OSU has been a snake pit for Texas Soccer much the way that our FB has found winning in Manhattan-not easy at all.
 
Not a good weekend for Texas as they drop a game at TCU 0-1 to go 0-1-1 this weekend.

Horns are tied for fifth in league play at 1-1-1. They will play two away games next weekend, taking on ISU (0-2-1) Friday and league leader WVU (3-0) on Sunday.

Texas Soccer got another 2019 commitment, Sikin Samanani, out of Calgary, Canada. I believe she has an older sister that plays at Rice, Ziyana Samanani. Coach Kelly is taking advantage of her Canada connection.
 
Texas split their two games this weekend, beating ISU 2-1 and losing at WVU by the same score.

Horns now tied for fourth at 2-2-1 with OSU, Tech, TCU and OU.
 
Horns only played one game this weekend but upended OU 3-2 with a last minute goal from Alexis Adams.

Horns currently fifth in the league standings at 3-2-1, half a game behind Tech (4-2-1).

Next game is Friday vs Kansas at Myers Soccer Field at 7 PM. The game will be carried on the LHN.
 
Before Grosso & Regan return to playing for UT, they will play for Canada vs the USA in the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Soccer Championship Wednesday night.

Game time is 7:15 PM CST and the game will be carried on FS1.

Both Canada and the USA qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 2019 by advancing to the CONCACAF finals.

Texas takes down Kansas 2-0 in a rainy contest. Nice to see CDC in attendance.

Horns are now tied for third with Tech at 4-2-1 pending the result of the Tech vs TCU game which was scheduled for the same time as the Texas vs Kansas game.

Baylor and WVU are tied for first with 6-1 records.

Next game for the Horns is vs KSU in Austin at 1 PM on the LHN. This will be senior day for Texas. Horns will not play again at Meyers Stadium this season unless it's during the NCAAs.
 
Horns keep KSU winless in league play with a 4-0 win at home. It featured the first two goals by Julia Grosso this season :hookem2:along with sole goals from Alexa Adams and Haley Berg.

Horns move to 5-2-1 in the Big 12 standings and 12-2-2 for the season.

Horns are ranked 17th nationally.
 
Another commitment announcement. Sophia Claros from the Metroplex, Hebron HS in Carrolton Texas. She is a 2020 commit.
 
Poor game by Texas (not sharp in passing; slow to the ball) resulted in a 1-0 win by Tech in Lubbock. Tech simply outplayed the Horns in the Lady Raiders' last home game. They needed a signature to get the attention of the committee selecting the teams that make it to the NCAAs.
