So, Vince doesn't need to be back in college

It's stupid to talk bad about someone for going back to school to get their degree. Probably most players who leave school early don't ever finish up their degree. So I don't see how you can't respect Vince even more for that. And who cares if Matt Leinart has a kid out of wedlock. So do I. And if I had the chance to be in a hot tub with those girls I sure as hell wouldn't be passing it up. The only question is whether Matt spends any time with his kid. And I've never read anything that says he doesn't.

Did somebody say Vince doesn't need to be back in college?

ML is alright by me - did you see the girls in the first pic

We have become a judgement society enabled by the prevelance of cameras and video recorders - it's only going to get worse

If I were Matt, I'd be doing what Matt is doing this offseason.

If I were Vince, I'd be doing what Matt is doing this offseason.

PS- I'll take sloppy seconds with the blue bathingsuit.

Well, according to this guy, Leinart is the one behaving responsibly, while Vince is letting his team down.

There's so much wrong with this article that I thought about making it a thread unto itself, but the writer doesn't deserve it.

Oh yes, what an impressive guy. Having children out of wedlock and living a MTV Daytona spring break lifestyle as a father and a working man in his mid-twenties. I’ll just call him Mr. Responsible. What a role model!!!!!!!!! That said, he shouldn’t be singled out. That’s more or less par for the course for pro athletes.

Character issues aside, I still think ML was one of the top college quarterbacks of all time.

Gotta agree with the other posters, who the F cares? Did everyone here get married and become a "responsible" adult as soon as they graduated college and got a job? If so, I feel sorry for you, cause years 21-26 (post college, pre-marriage) of my life were ALOT of fun, and if everything went to plan (it never did) led to being in a hot tub with four hot drunk chicks.

Not that being married isn't fun.... I mean, uh..... I hope my wife doesn't check this board.....

Why is everyone so outraged when people express concern about other people’s irresponsible actions, especially people who are in a de facto role model position?

I care.

This is how society gets f’ed up. People go out and have kids out of wedlock (often times as a direct result of drunken parties) and then don’t take responsibility (and I’m not talking about just financial responsibility because ML has PLENTY of scratch) in raising those children in the right way…giving them time, love, attention and discipline. Or get divorced at the drop of the hat leaving a broken family behind. What do we get? We get f’ed up kids who become f’ed up teens and f’ed up adults who do all kinds of stupid things to put a huge drag on our society. You don’t believe me? Turn on the nightly news! People don’t turn out in a bad way by accident.

We don’t live alone in isolation. We’re a society and what our neighbors do impacts us, usually not directly, but definitely in the big picture and in the long term.

End of rant.

It's your job to raise your children, not mine. If your child sees the picture and has questions, explain your opinions about it to your child. If you expect everybody to act as role models all of the time, then maybe you would be comfortable with these same strangers disciplining your children when they are loud in public. I mean, if we're all raising your children, shouldn't I be able to tell your kids where you are raising them wrong?

Show your kids the world the way it is and then teach them to navigate it. Don't expect the world to act out your fantasy of what the world should be like for your kids. Also don't expect the world to care much about self-righteous rants about how much you care for your kids. Everybody cares about their kids. It's no big distinction.

It's common knowledge that Matt is a ******* ***-hole for how he treated his GF and her pregnancy. That is, he got her pregnant and then left her. He can be in as many hot tubs as he wants with as many coeds as he wants. Hell, I'm 27 and I'd gladly take his place in the hot tub. At the same time, I don't have a kid, but I'm not the one to judge. I am the one to call him an *** hole for leaving his pregnant GF though.

Maybe if ML's babymomma was on the pill or made him use condoms she wouldn't have saddled him with the burden of having a child.

Hagy and Texas Taps: you two must lead some of the most boring lives imaginable. If I was a young millionaire celebrity you bet I would be hanging out with hot chicks, banging as many as possible, and partying my *** off. That is what I want my QB to be doing. Look at David ******* Carr. That ***** was already married and saddled with kids and ran home to them the minute practice let out. **** him and his Christian morals. I'd rather have a partier like Roethlisberger on my team. I am a little disappointed in ML, if I was him I would be lining up rails on their tits
