On the wrap-up show on Wednesday(the day he fell asleep) Gary was talking about he gets calls all the time from friends that Gary needs to help Artie. Artie's response was "help with what? I have no issues. I''m fine." Artie is denial big time and that's the comment that solidified my opinion that he is back on drugs. How can you be 300 lbs, falling asleep on air, sleep 20+ hours straight on weekends and not admit that you at least have an issue with your weight? How are you stressed/can't handle working five hours a day four days a week and MAYBE two shows on the weekend? Someone's in denial and I hope he gets help.

You're right that O&A have to have more listeners just because they are on Free FM but I would say a Ton more. Howard's Sirius show has 5x more listeners than O&A XM show. LinkEven his second channel 101 with Bubba had more listeners than O&A. At the end of the day any comic would take a spot with Howard over O&A. There is way more press associated with Howard's show. Howard Stern is a brand that people will follow.

if they were indeed on suspension during those arbitron ratings...i would say that is very skewed.

No one has ever beaten Stern's ratings on terrestrial radio, and no one has beaten his ratings on satellite radio. Once the merger happens, he will be kicking O&A's left and right, just as he always has. O&A owe their entire success to Stern - after all, they stole pretty much all their material from him.

I love Artie. He is funny and great for the show. Listening to the old replays with Jackie remind you how worthless he really was. Artie, when he is not on smack, is greatness. Clearly he is on smack right now. I hope he gets help. There is something about fat comedians, that says they never will.

I sensed Howard was getting pissed during the Neil Patrick Harris interview. I've never heard that fatass interupt the flow more than he did today.

I thought we were freed of that nasty wheezing laugh and the UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! before every comment.
