Every single former player and pitcher of Skip's that I talked to when he was hired thought it was a great hire and a good fit. Every one.

One knock on Skip is that he doesn't have D-1 experience, but I'm not sure how important that is. I believe he's sent a great number of pitchers to D-1 schools and coaching in the Texas Collegiate League would seem to be a reasonable facsimile as virtually all of the players are D-1 athletes.

I dunno. It is what it is.
