Sit back and watch the BIG10 scramble

I agree that tOSU is one of the four best teams but with 5 wins is that really fair to teams that will play twice as many games. Every other conference, except the PAC12, endured the risk of injuries and Covid concerns at least twice the frequency. A team playing only five games will be much fresher and have less tape to study by opposing teams. And they have only one win against a team with a winning record, IU 42-35.

The B1G did this to themselves and they should have to suffer the consequences.

Agree with 'slowrider!'

That was the BIG's rule! All conferences had specific rules for playoff possibilities. Why should they be allowed to alter their own rule?

Agree. Screw the tree nuts.

[Political comment removed, 3-day ban, next ban is permanent] Put Aggie in the CFP. Maybe that will light a fire in CDCs ***.

Again, some extremely fit and healthy and NOT sick players test positive. No ****. It's a virus. Viruses virus, you know, they spread and infect people.

******* country has gone off the deep end with the fear. Absolutely god damned ludicrous.

Mayor Lightfoot will dislike this post. Be careful.
Yeah, I hear ya. I just wish I could change my name to horninburrridge because I hate that I am lumped in with that ******** city. My mistake. I was originally horninseattle way back when and the original admins changed it for me when I moved.

Hmmm, maybe I can change it.

HIBR. I like it.

ESPN runs College Football and the Heisman - they decide who goes in or not - these committees are nothing more than a front for the CFB Mob aka ESPN

Yep! They want the teams that get the highest TV ratings, not small school teams that deserve to be there.

Well, you have been pretty active and outspoken 'round here lately. How about FiestyHorn or FireHermanHorn ?

Just tryin' to help bro! :headbang:

Was he related to the Sewell in Houston, who was big in the touchdown club and helped in recruiting? Really a good guy

Interesting about Sewell... did not know that. UNO Pizza is a retail account of mine... unfortunately virus is really hurting their biz. Love their pizza....

Hmm, he was around in the late 30s as a player, so I'm not real sure about that. I just love that one of the big things Chicagoans tout isn't even their own.

Here's how that BIG 10 meeting will go on Wednesday.

Guys, if tOSU doesn't make our championship game then they might not make the playoffs and the conference loses out on the playoff money to distribute. Now...all in favor to let them play with only 5 games under their belt?

14 Ayes

Meeting adjourned.

Yup. I don’t think they would be having the same conversation if IU and tOSU were reversed. Indiana is about to get screwed.

Indiana should have won the game against OSU, then they'd be in the driver's seat.

But yeah, pretty pointless to have a set of rules, then pitch them as soon as it would cost you money. It's a virtue siginaling league first, but money grubbing foremost.
