Can someone explain the difference between the bronze, silver, gold and platinum plans? As far as I can tell the prescription drugs covered don't change and the premiums, deductibles and max out of pocket tend to overlap. Thus what is it that differentiates these plans?
In Harris County there is one platinum plan with zero deductibles that is actually a slight bit cheaper than some of the most expensive gold plans. Thus what makes it a better plan? Why would it be cheaper? it is through Humana and for some reason that is why I think it is cheaper but have no experience with Humana so not sure why they would be cheaper.
I'm not sure how it stacks up to conceirge service but things like the Kelsey-Seibold clinic are quite possibly going to be a better option going forward. Harris Health Plan through Kelsey-Seibold
