Wow. Wisconsin as a #3. Didn't expect that. So who is the other #2? Duke? Hopefully they will ship Duke out to the West to play UCLA.
 
Wisc might rather have a 3 in the Detroit region than a 2 in the West. Thought they might get the 2 in the MW though. Duke to the West I was predicting...but they don't deserve the 2. I guess it was a geography call
 
Much more likely for Texas to get a 2 seed. Sucks for Wisconsin, but would the committee have put a 6 loss Texas team over Duke? No guarantee of that, no matter who the opponents were.

I wonder if they wanted to put Wisconsin in but decided they couldn't after seeing that 28 point beat down Duke laid on them earlier in the year.
 
Just hope we end up in the afternoon session. I'm sick of being the last or next-to-last 1st round game year after year. Makes watching the rest of the first round very difficult.
 
I think the bubble may have just about popped for Baylor although it's possible they'll be on the opposite side of A&M in the West regional.
 
I dont have clas on Friday, I was just hoping for a Fri-Sun and not a Thurs-Sat.

I have to go to a couples shower on Friday night for my brother's wedding (aggie), it had better be on if its a late game!
 
IMO couldnt have asked for a better overall bracket. As far as possible second round matchups go, I don't know too much about Miami, but i like the fact that we won't be getting surprised by a potential St Mary's matchup. I REALLY like this bracket and as bad as it sounds, i'm almost glad we lost today.
 
we can run this region, im not scared of stanford or marquette especially b/c we will be in Houston if we meet them, and I see memphis getting up set before the Regional finals
 
Nice draw! Playing in Little Rock then in Houston. Miami, St. Mary's, Stanford, Memphis all good teams. But all of those are beatable if we play well. Also we get to play on Friday. One extra day to rest after a long weekend. Couldn't have asked for much better!
 
This is great news. I was sweating that our slow RS finish would bump us down to a #3. The difference between the rate at which 2 seeds make it to the Final 4 vs. 3 seeds is huge.
 
Not that it matters a ton, but playing in Little Rock will be like going on the road. Those arkie yokels would love nothing better than to see us get bounced.

I don't know what I'm going to end up doing, but right now I'm not paying $170 for an upper-deck seat in Reliant Stadium for basketball.
 
A potential 2nd round game with Miami and former asst. coach Haith. Although they probably won't get past Saint Marys, which means we will have to beat them for a second time this year.
