Coach G commented about that today on the Coach G show, but we'd have to play several other very good teams FIRST!!

Baylor a #4 seed and Texas a #6 seed!!! BOGUS....Griner love in full effect.

kinda disappointed. was really hoping for a #5 seed.

One thing mentioned was that the committee could move a team up or down one spot to make things work (not meeting a conference team early, distance, etc), so Texas could have been a 5 and moved to a six to meet all the regs and rules.

Given the drop off after the top 4 teams - much better to be a 6 than a 4 or 5. I like this bracket - a chance for an upset at home over a higher seed. One game at a time, but I think the team can make some noise in this bracket!!

While I'm glad we're hosting, we basically got penalized for it, while OSU and Baylor benefitted for not hosting. We are basically being told we're the #7 best team in the Big 12.

same here! glad we avoided the UConn region. i will say, i do like our side of the bracket...and the potential match up with Duke is intriguing. it just pisses me off that Baylor is seeded higher, but i'll get over it (when they get knocked out)
