FWIW- Nebraska sold out it's Spring Game (60k tickets) within 3 hrs of tickets going on sale.

From a recruiting side they finished ~#24 ranked (ESPN + 1 other) which was up from #48 when Riley was fired. They managed to get some signing day wins over schools like Florida, Auburn, ASU and others. Maurice Washington from Trinity Christian (Cypress) seems to be getting the most publicity.

^My oldest son in Lincoln says that the Husker world is very excited to have Scott as the new HC. And as noted above, he did a terrific job recruiting, given that he didn't hit the job until after the bowl game and the early signing period. Again, it's not the same game it was back in the 70s and 80s - and Scott has learned that during his progression as a football coach. If anyone can bring Nebraska back, it's Scott Frost.
