Schedule update

We are still waiting for one game as the opponent is still TBA along with matching times with Longhorn Network…we will announce the schedule as soon as it’s available…

Several conference opponents, as well as Stanford, already have their schedules posted on their websites, showing when they play Texas.

The West Virginia series is the weekend of the 19th of April and the OSU series is the weekend of the March 28th-Easter Weekend..

Wow, I'm surprised to see Nebraska coming here. I didn't think either current athletic director would allow UT and NU to meet in the regular season of any sport. I've heard the volleyball coaches want to continue their rivalry, but that didn't happen this season, so I didn't expect to see it in baseball.

There is a relationship between Nebraska and Texas that probably runs a little deeper then the ADs..

Ted Silva is the pitching coach at Nebraska and was one of the finalist here before the job going to Skip Johnson..

Ted played for and pitched for Augie back during their Cal State Fullerton days...

Those games at Minnesota in March could be a joke. I've lived there.
It still snows in May. Don't be surprised if the team is playing in parkas.

U of Minnesota has a brand new baseball facility -- no more games scheduled for
the dome.

If it is snowing do they revert to to the Metrodome or do they work around it and play at the local park?

I have no idea, but it is Veeeeerrrry cold up there, even into late March, so
expect a non-baseball atmosphere unless we are extremely lucky.
