Saw aggy fan sporting championship shirt

Headed to the Austin symphony last night and what did I see during intermission but an aggy fan proudly wearing a 1939 football championship shirt. He didn't look to be in his late 80's so I doubt he was a student at the time. I'm not sure he even looked old enough to have been alive when it happened. Don't really have point, just wanted to share.

I've seen plenty of people walking around sporting t-shirts listing all of Texas' championships including those in the 60's.

Don't blame him for aggys crappy program only winning one back in the 30's. I wouldn't be proud enough to wear a shirt but hey, to each his own right?

So Aggy not only wears a t-shirt celebrating their championship of 70 years ago, but he wears this t-shirt to the symphony.

Outstanding.

I don't see any difference between shirts celebrating championships from 1969 and 1939. I wouldn't wear either one, but they seem equally lame to me. Wearing it to the symphony on the other hand is worthy of ridicule.

Wearing the shirt is nothing compared to A&M buying Alamo Bowl rings for the players even though they lost the Bowl game this past season. I also heard that they put the Texas score of this past seasons game on the ring

Getting a ring made for a bowl game, that you lost, and putting the score on it from a totally different game is like taking a diploma from a Jr. College in General Studies and having the Harvard emblem and logo stamped on it.
Ridiculous and embarrassing.

This reminds me of an instance when a dufus Aggie said something about their win over us this year and I pointed out that the last time Aggie won a NC Hitler was a friend of the US. I know it is a bit off, but he got the point (or maybe he did not know who Hitler was).
