Sarah Palin's great idea

Sarah Palin is taking a bus tour to important American Historial sites. So far she's been to the National Archives, Mt. Vernon, Gettysburg, Ft. McHenry and some others as she explores American History. The Link
I've thought of doing it myself for school age friends and relatives, but don't have Fox News or a big bankroll of my own to fund it.

PDS often?

Maybe it would be better if she brought some styrofoam Roman columns with her, or perhaps a podium and a logo that sort of resembled the Presidential seal.

I'm honestly not much of a fan of Sarah Palin the politician, but I'd definitely like to be on a bus going to the places she's going, sans the media attention. I suspect it's good political strategy. I'm sure it's great educational strategy for her family.

The press seems pissed off that she doesnt tell them where she is going and they have to follow her. There is a simple solution to that but they don't seem to be hold 1st grade level problem solving skills.

Sarah Louise Palin, mmm, mmm, mmm

Thanks to Sarah Palin- I have a new respect for Paul Revere. I know if I tried to ring bells and shoot a rifle while on a galloping horse- I'd definitely fall off. Plus- he did this all while covertly communicating with an enemy war force. Wow

The old Houston Oilers of the early 70s had a coach named Bill Peterson who was famous for malapropisms and inability to remember player names. In one half time speech trying to inspire his team he closed with:

In the immortal words of Henry Patrick: "Kill me or let me live!"

From a hilarious article in the Houston Post in the later 70s.

i am going to assume it wasn't CNN that subtitled that video clip with the: gonna and takin' and ringin' and makin' and ridin'.

Poor Sarah Palin. As if she's the only buffoon around. Our ACTUAL vice president stated in April that 500,000 jobs will be created each month soon. Where was the media obsession over that ridiculous and stupid statement? Our president pronounces the word corpsmen "corpse men." Sheila Jackson Lee proclaims that the US was victorious in Vietnam and that there are two Vietnams today that get along well with each other.

This hypnotic power that the media has over some of you is scary.

Are you seriously comparing mispronouncing a word to Sarah Palin's incredible statement on Paul Revere? She demonstrated unquestionable buffoonery.

I suppose Obama's reference to our 57 states was a bit more "buffoonish".

I just don't get the obsession. There are people, like I mentioned above (whom you conveniently ignored), who are IN office (unlike Palin), that make outlandish statements. Yet, the left is seething with this almost unprecedented hypnotic-like obsession with a woman who isn't even electable.

It's scary. While I'm concerned about the fact that my investments dropped in worth last week and the economy isn't recovering like joe-doe-doe predicted, people are foaming at the mouth like mind-less zombies over a woman who isn't even in office.

Very scary.

Palin would be a far better president than Obama. Most of the announced Republican leaning candidates would. In that regard it doesn't matter which gets the nod, whoever is it will be better than Obama. Kind of like Clash of the Titans, only the TItans are all on the Republican side against Pain and Panic in the White House.

Yes, I wouldn't hire Palin as a tour guide. However when in Boston do hire a tour guide for the walking historical tour. They tell so many great stories that even people who don't love history like I do are fascinated. People who have read a lot of history can still learn and see the places they've imagined while reading books.

The current administration has proved that anybody can screw anything up and they are doing it to perfection. Palin could do no worse. In 200 years the books will be written, the Great Social Experiment died in 2012.

....which we are still engaged in.

No, I don't believe Palin is bright enough for the presidency. That said, she would STILL be light years better than Barry. It is so sad that our standards have dropped so low. Real leaders unfortunately want nothing to do with the White House fish bowl. Instead we get the human teleprompter.
