San Antonio 5-A RB goes OFF on Kerrville Tivy

Looks like Aaron Green had a bad game against Smithson Valley if you can call 15 att for 101 yards a bad game. He averaged 6.7 yards per attempt.

SA Madison lost 31-21

I always say you learn more about someone when they lose then when they win. He might be the best runningback to come out of the SA area since Chris Pryor of Converse Judson back in 83.

I went to the game.

Smithson Valley is a fun team to watch. They are well-coached and don't make many mistakes. In this game, they didn't really make ANY mistakes.

Madison had three turnovers that probably were the difference. That and SV's 2nd half defense, which was smothering to say the least.

Green played alright. He really didn't have a lot of room to operate, and I was surprised that Smithson Valley was able to contain him and not let him get to the corner much. Green made a big mistake at the end of the game when he tipped the game-clinching interseption into the hands of a SV defender.

On SA running backs, there have been some good ones. I thought that Priest (he was called Anthony in HS) was good, but the other RB in that backfield, VJ Villareal, was great too. Gotta throw Jerod Douglas into the discussion, as well as Wane McGarity. Pryor was a little before my time, so I never saw him play. He was incredible, from what people say. Sad story there after his HS days. I spoke a few times with Chris's brother Vincent, who played at TCU. He said that the recruiting process with Pryor was totally insane.

I knew Chris from when I lived in Universal City, he and Chip Lambert were on a whole other level than everyone else. When I left and moved to the Madison school district I lost touch with most of the kids in that area. I did run into Chris at MacArthur HS when both of us needed to attend summer school he attended because he failed english. Long story short he told me about his recruiting, It was a straight up bidding war he was given so much crap including hookers, clothes, cash, he ended up choosing Tech but he had zero work ethic, he left school in the middle of the season and never really did anything except blow the whistle on every school in the SWC.

Forget about, he's sick good.

Go to YouTube, type his name, watch the highlights. If you can't tell he's an absolute gift, I don't know what you are watching. Unreal quickness in any direction and overall speed.

Leaves Tom Wort like he's standing still.

Stud.
