Sam Houston State Game

Tumis is a guy we should use on weekends as a stopper or a 3rd closer. Another Boehm or Dre.

Hudson Hamilton will work into that.

Both of these 2 might start next year, or the year after that. They have "stuff" equal to anyone we've had over the last 8-10 years or so. Gotta get that control and consistency nailed down.

Tumis' fastball also tops out around 95-96 mph. If he hits the weight room and dining table over the off-season, he might get to the upper 90s by next year. He only weighs 155 lbs.

Hudson's fastball tops out around 93-94 mph.

Nice to close out the mid week games with win. Really need to go 7-2 over these last nine conference games to feel secure in getting to be a 2 or 3 seed in someone else’s regional.

DuP is kicking some *** this year. Coach isn't trying to extend him beyond an inning or two. And I think he's mostly throwing his cutter (with a little move to it), rather than a straight 4 seam fastball (right down the middle of the plate like he did a lot last year).
