Went to the Salt Lick before the Tech game. My first time there and I loved it.
The service was some of the best I've ever had. Fast and friendly. Never had to ask for anything, they always refilled my tea and restocked our plates right when they needed to be.
Atmopshere is unmatched. Nice drive through beautiful Central Texas. Didn't have to wait to long to get a seat and everyone had a great time.
The food was really good. I can honestly say I've had better brisket, I've had better ribs and I have tasted better sausage but all in all it was damn good. I personally would have liked the sauce to be a little more spicey. I have this thing with beef ribs and I personally feel like every good TEXAS style BBQ joint should have them, and they didn't...but that wont stop me from going back.
