Nights ago, Furman Paladin redshirt forward #32 Megan Gallagher, who was a schoolmate of mine from first grade through high school, died of a heart attack in her sleep. Megan was a sweet girl and she will be missed here.

Megan was 20 years old as of April 13th.

Prayers for family and friends. From her obituary, it appears she found ways to leave her little space better for her being there, without realizing it fully. Her family and friends have much to celebrate in her short life and many reminders of the ways she touched all around her.

As the parent of two young adults and one still young kid, every time I read posts about young people's lives ending far too soon, I can not even begin to imagine the depth of their feelings. And I vow to continue to teach mine to end each day better than it started.
