Royer's Cafe in Round Top

Well, since VO said Bud said it on the radio, that is true. There may be plans to open a cafe here in Austin. I think it would go over HUGE. Great food, everything about it. I think just this site alone has enough lovers of that place to fill it up. I am very excited over the thought of it being here.

Dr. Karen and Tara would do a fantastic job of finding the pulse of a new place and decorating w/ an ambiance deserving the Royers name of fame. This is wonderful news to me, if it happens. For now, just a wonderful dream.

My understanding is that the place is no longer for sale and they are keeping it. Woohoo!!!

Bringing this to the top again since it was mentioned in a new topic in Quack's. Time to add a new folloer to the fold. Welcome Mr. CAD and Mrs. Reboot

Okay, now that you are out, yes, I am down. Seriously, I suggested this before and it needs to happen. Great stuff.

I wonder if he knows the guy that dated the LISTEATER?

Ram, you down for a road trip soon to head down there and eat? Who would be in?

So I have a troubled childhood...can't help that now can we.

2004, don't make me spill the beans on you, boy. I'll start naming names. She's a Sooner.

Campus, maybe, been real busy lately. you gonna play in the tourney this Saturday?

The food is excellent y'all. Check it out whenever you can.

Some things never change.

Went out to visit the Royers this afternoon and got an outstanding meal as a bonus at their cafe (at least that's what it feels like, seriously, everyone needs to go out and meet the family and just generally enjoy life).

I'm still in awe of the filet. It is the best steak I have ever had, hands down. Of course, I may not be able to eat for a few days due to being so full, but that's alright.

beat me to it...but what he said except that I had the Snapper. Mmmmmmm.

Agreed. I also went 2 times in October and it was incredible both times. The 2 times I went were on either the way to or from New Orleans, and both times the meal at Royer's was the best meal of the trip.
