Last week, I lost my closest uncle. He was buried with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. This morning, I lost my grandmother (she lost her son, my father, two years ago and never really seemed to recover physically). And we learned my aunt has very serious lung cancer to go along with her stroke and other ailments and may only have a matter of weeks.
Anyway, I'm fine but if you have a moment to think of my grandfather and the children/grandchildren of my aunt, I thank you. And I guess I wanted y'all to know that behind my rough exterior on this website, this kinda stuff hits me like a ton of bricks. They say these deaths come in 3's and I am hoping my aunt won't be the thirds, that Robert Goulet will count since we were all big fans of his.
