I love Mack, Vince all the guys.
I love my HornFans brothers and sisters. Thank you for getting me through this season. I posted 1000 posts this season because of all of your excellence and analysis. You guys are the greatest.
Allsome thread. I love reading these threads after the fact to see how the momentum swings amongst us, the fans, as the momentum swings in the game ( as usual, there are a few embrassing posters that give up on the team so easily). Anyway - it doesn't matter - we're 2005 College Football National Champions - it feel surreal, an out of body experience. Please put this thread in Classics.
Please don't send it to the archives yet. There's too much enjoyment in re-reading it, and not everyone's made it back to their computers yet or recovered from compulsive espn watching, etc., so give us a chance to savor a little longer....
It's great to go back and read it b/c it brings back, better than anything, the emotions--especially for those of us who were stuck at home in front of our tv screens instead of immersed in the camaraderie of the Burnt Orange Nation in Pasadena.
God, I love the Longhorns! Thank you so much for bringing back that feeling of 35 years ago.....
Couldn't access server the night of the game. Watched game with my 4 teenagers. We lived an unforgettable night in front of 63 inches of HD. My 14-year-old is taunted by both OU and Arkansas fans constantly at school. His quote following the game, "This is the best day of my entire life..."
I told him to let 'em have it back now. You deserve it. Thanks Horns, and thank you Hornfans for being the best damned sports forum in the history of the internet!!
