LSU is my second favorite team. I grew up going to Tiger games. If UT can't win it all, LSU would be my next preference.

Stoops won his NC in year two. He has also won 5 Big XII championships and also done this with different QB's as well as the only team to do this back to back. Why wouldn't he be #1?

He also appeared in two consecutive NC games. Mack had VY and has not done much else.
