This is sad. ABSOLUTELY NO OFFENSE. I say lets just put Erika in the game and stand her behind the ark and just let her shoot. Create plays with her standing BTA and just let her shoot. It couldn't be any worse than it is now. Everybody needs to look for their shot and SHOOT THE BALL! No more defense practice. WE NEED OFFENSE PRACTICE EVERY DAY! AARRGGHH!!!! And take care of the ball. We're just giving the game to them.

OK, I'm getting off of my soap box. Let's go HORNS! We need 9 defensive stops. Don't try and get them all at once. One at a time. Lets break this next 20 minutes into 4 minute increments. We need two stops per increment, no turnovers, make ALL of our shots, and no fouls.

Dumb decisions, missed looks, horrific defense, this squad has it all. Wioth a few good recruiting classes, Coach G will get us there, but this reminds me of the aftermath of Fred Akers.


Oh, and the officiating is excruciating both ways.

Our ladies have been making some TERRIBLEpasses all game. They are just passing the ball in a direction and hopeing that somebody will come up with it. They really need to work on that in practice. This is painful.

They are going to lose this game. I didn't expect them to. It's not one that I have pencilled in as likely wins. But another poor, poor start and a long way to try to dig out of it comes up short. It sure didn't give them much of a chance to win. Some poor shot selection by Ashley and Niqky at the end didn't help. Coach G needs to find a way to get some open looks for Kat. A&M pretty much face guarded Kat all game to take away that threat. Horns can certainly take them in Austin. Way to battle back, Horns.

40 minutes. We don't have it in us. Last time it was the second 20 and this time the first 20. Until we can put together a 40 min game, we will continue to lose...but I accepted that several games ago.

What is pissing me off this time is the following: THE GIRL SUFFERING FROM THE FLU SCORED 14 PTS AGAINST US.

For craps sake they kept showing her on the sidelines blowing her nose...and yet she scored 14 friggin points against us.

If you take good shots, it doesn't matter how badly you have the flu. The flu doesn't effect the arms, hands, or knees. Just ask Michael Jordan.

The flu leaves you weak. I'm not sure I would compare Takia Starks to Michael Jordan, but the flu I am familiar with leaves the body weak and sore, and yet we let her get within three of her season average. And I would understand if the Ags were relyiing solely on her, but we let Gant beat her season average by 10. Considering our high player scored 12 - maybe we should all wish for the flu???

But enough of my moaning. Pack it in, pick it up and let's try to get a W against Baylor!

once again, we were coached to the finish line but nobody seemed to have it in them to execute at the end of the game. i totally agree with the poster who says that we just can't put 40 minutes together. maybe the players will eventually figure out that "coming close" only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
