Ricky Zorn

Good athlete, but small (eyeballing it, about 5'11" and maybe 180 lbs.) for a D-1 QB. The word from inside the LH program is that he's a good kid and a smart kid. In all honesty, though, he doesn't seem quite Big 12 (or BCS) caliber, in terms of pure physical size and skills.

6' 190

Started as soph on b-ball team - 12.4/4.5/3.5 stats.

Probably not a good athlete.

Great stats so far against some good DFW competition - Mesquite, Garland and Mesquite Horn.

I am not qualified at all to give opinion on high school football but had the same question living in LH and seeing the stats.

His mother was my neighbor growing up in wichita falls. I noticed at a camp in Desoto, he had a 31" vertical jump from standing position and a 4.5 forty so I was impressed.

Zorn rushed for 278 yards on 24 carries and four TDs in Lake Highlands' opening round playoff victory over S. Garland last night.
