What? They said 20-25 foot storm surge, was actually 12-15 feet, 18 in some places. They also had said it may be Cat 4 at landfall, was Cat 2. I am not trying to diminish it, it was a vicious storm obviously, and I would have gotten the **** out of dodge. I'm just saying that no one can say honestly they didn't think it would be at least as bad as it was unless they are an idiot.
 
def agree Bob, the media should let them know the worst possible scenario. Not blaming the media, blaming idiots who decide to 'ride it out' then when it hits are like HOLY **** A HURRICANE HELP, when it is not as bad in many areas as it could have been with a slight adjustment in course.
 
I think we're going to start hearing some casualty numbers on the people who didn't leave. They don't need rescuing anymore. These people were told that they face "certain death" if they didn't leave. I think many, many of them did and it hasn't been reported or they haven't been found yet.
