I don't recall fawning, however, it's always great to beat OU. Additionally, since Mack had replaced Diaz and the defense was showing marked improvement, it was reasonable to have a sense of optimism for the rest of the season. But, fawning? I don't recall that.The funny thing was how everyone fawned over Case and Mack after the 2013 game, despite the fact that we were coming off of some awful losses to Taysom Hill and BYU and that revenge loss to Ole Miss and the transfer QB we should have picked up (Bo Wallace). And how we played for the "de facto" conference championship against Baylor where we got absolutely **** on, and that should have been enough to save Mack's job. *ppsssh*
