Recievers

How much of this receiver development conversation is actually the result of Ewers being incapable of checking through a receiver progression and being severely inaccurate? I would swear you could find open receivers on every play but if you're the second or third option it's very unlikely you even get a look.
If you watched the Baylor, the OL did not provide the time time to find the 2nd or 3rd option. Most of the time, the was not even time to find the first option.

Watch the replay of the game and notice the difference between the time each QB had to find receivers.

I didn't get to see the Baylor game so not going to argue that. I talking the entire season. He was awful at checking past #1.

OK, look at replay of any game and note the difference in the time our QB had and our opponent's QB had, The Bailor game was not a one off. I did also see him miss Robinson on a wheel route , believe it was TCU. When you get use to IMMEDIATE pressure, he probably did hurry his passes. My opinion is that the problem was not Ewer but the OL pass blocking.

Brennan Thompson and Savion Red are two solid prospects. Getting receivers with Sark will not be an issue. Saw flashes of them during the season. I assume there is just trust issues with how young they are and when you have Worthy and Whittington and Sanders, it may be hard to for more people to eat.

65 I agree on the pressure. I’ve commented on that since Sam but with Ewers I think it’s compounded by inaccuracy even when he lets it go early (not too early) with the time to hit his target.
I’m hoping for his getting more confidence next year.
