RC on Texas at Dallas A&M Club

Jaydee:

I agree. I was not implying that Brown would make comments similar to those of Slocum. And thank God for that.

God bless the words he speaks today, so he can eat them tomorrow.

RC... what a joke. Put a fork in him.

Remonds me of the kid who just got his arse kicked and then stands on the porch calling you names.

October 6th... Be There!

Although I despise RC and all he stands for, it's a sad thing that has happened to him.

When a person gets old, paranoid, bitter, jealous, and crabby, they often lose touch with reality. This is what has caused our dear friend RC to speak of "orange propaganda" and such. Poor soul.

But no RC, there is no conspiracy, only reality. Texas is great, atm is not, and that's that.

Good post Lnghrn. It really illuminates the fact that A&M's talent pipeline is emtpying, while UT's is filling up.

Hey, remember about this time a year ago, when texags.com posters were saying that the A&M linemen going to the pros were being replaced by second stringers that would be even better? Right.

Can you imagine if Mack Brown were to talk the way R.C. does about Texas, regarding OU????

Can you see Mack up there explaining that UT actually has a better record over the last three years?

R.C. is scared shitless. A&M fan's with half a friggin brain (o.k. - all A&M fans) are scard shitless. They realize they simply have been left behind. Not only nationally but in THE BIG 12 SOUTH! They realize that their best hope is to perhaps upset either of the two contenders in OU and Texas and somehow win a road game versus Texas Tech.

It's gonna be a bittersweet thing watching the Aggies slide inot the abyss of football anonymity. It's going to be hilarious watching their season go straight into the shitter via their soap opera "Sidelines."

Gonna suck to be an Ag in 2001.

Ol Ahrasee is just getting his last smack talk in before he loses another 5 games this year and gets canned. You can't blame him for being bitter. He won't have any more secretaries to sexually harass after this year.

Yeah, part of being a good coach is having some depth to your team. I guess Coach Chokem was admitting that he didn't have any good players on his team to fill in for a couple of starters that were hurt. Who's fault is that Ahrasee?

Just more proof that RC and Winags are somehow related. At the very least, RC is coming across about as knowledgable as many Aggie internet posters.

It kind of creeps me out to see RC fall apart like he is in public. He used to seem so confident with his tone and swagger when he was in the crappy SWC. However, it seems like every interview he gives lately he throws out backhanded insults and he seems like he is always trying to justify his program and how he runs it.

His interview going into halftime of last year's game was classic. When asked about the first half, instead of saying something like "We had some opportunities but didn't capitalize," or "We feel good about being where we are in this game," or something similar that most coaches say, RC instead chose to complain and look jealous. He griped and whined how the refs took away points by calling not calling Farris down on his fumble and how if that were different they would be beating us. Too bad the reply showed it was clearly a fumble and RC comes accross as defensive and pathetic once again.

I used to like the guy, or at least respect him, but he has become the biggest tool in College Station, and that is saying a lot.

You guys seem rather worked up over R.C.'s comments. While I am a little dissapointed to hear that Slocum was taking potshots, but he does have a point. UT and A&M have had similar amounts of success over the last 3 years and both A&M and UT have been shamed by OU's program in the span of one year. UT people in my experience benefit from a large amount of unsubstantiated hype each year so I can't really blame you all for buying into the inviting but meaningless predictions. Mack Brown has recruited well, but beyond that fact he has not achieved any sort of title beyond media darling. When you all actually put together a Big 12 title season, then you will have a position to talk. Until that time, all the folks on this board should be considered the same bunch of deluded and overconfident fools that UT produces every year. Better hope the Horns don't pull their usual early season fold-a-roo, because you all have invited a lot more ridicule this time around.

Give me a break DFW. The point of this thread is that RC is beginning to look and sound more and more like a casual jealous fan as each day passes. He is like all of the other internet Aggies who whine about the media coverage we are getting. The only problem is that he is a head coach of a major university and should act accordingly.

When RC actually recruited well and the SWC sucked, A&M had some decent teams that should have challeneged for the whole enchilada. When they feel on their face did UT's coaches ever make asses out of themselves by taking potshots at A&M's players or coaches? The answer is no. RC needs to stop worrying about the team in Austin that is building talent and a program that is going to keep winning for years and years to come and concentrate more on how his team is going to put on a happy face and be ESPN's puppet in the midst of a possible awful season that RC and his followers will try to show the nation that while his office is small and his team is horrible, the Ags have devised a plan that allows 80,000 gomers to follow dorky milkman types in saying "Whooop" all at the same time.

Ol Ahrasee Chokem, just like every other jealous aggie idiot, is completely obsessed with all things burnt orange. You can't blame agroids for wanting to be like their Big Daddy UT.

Knock it off fellows. You're not representing the University well. Leave the aggies and R.C. alone. If we already know we're superior in every aspects, what's the point of being a jackass about it and rubbing it in. R.C. didn't state anything that wasn't so far fetched.

Football can't get here soon enough.

Hook'em

We're not over-hyped when it comes to kicking the ag's butt lately (in everything). So we'll just have to excuse RC for being desperate.

"Show up at the start, play smart, be intense and no damned excuses!"

DFW Ag:

If you wish to cling to the eternal Aggie tidbit that Mack has never won a championship just remember that he did have his last two NC teams in the top 10.

Confucious say man who slings mud, loses ground. He also say, "Give 'em Hell, Give 'em Hell, Aggies Suck...".

RC is doing a great job. He is only 13 years into his scripted plan to bring a national championship to A&M. While the anti-Ag media might say A&M has actually gone backwards in those 13 years, they would be setting aside obviousness for mere facts.

I am sure that A&M is working hard now to extend RC's contract to lock up this valuable commodity before FSU comes in with offers after Bowden leaves.

No true fan of their team in the Big 12 South should knock RC or lobby for his dismissal.

DFWag,

The ags are a sh*tload closer to pulling the old el foldo than the Horns...if the ags lose another 5 games this year
like last year...what's ol' arrasee's excuse going to be when any commits you guys still have start decommitting and all those loyal fans go after arrasee's arse again? Can AlanZ, Hoppity, TOAg, and the other ag administrators
delete all of the ag instigated posts that say ol' arrasee will never get the ags to the "next" level (which lately must mean finishing the season in the top 20)? You forget who's team has gone 8-4 and 7-5 the last two years...bet the trends. -thirty-

Pain is inevitable, misery is optional.
