Rank the places you have lived

1. Denver
2. Austin
Huge drop between 2 and 3
3. Conroe
4. Lockhart
5. Houston
Another huge drop between 5 and 6
6. Minneapolis

Typing this makes me realize how pathetic it is that I currently live in the location that is at the very bottom of my list.

1. Charleston, SC - Very pretty town. A fun downtown, and lots of history. People were very nice. I was just there for a summer, so my opinion would probably change if I stayed longer.

2. Austin, TX - Great town. Can't say anything that hasn't already been mentioned. I spent 4 years there, but was ready to see something different after I graduated.

3. Los Angeles, CA - Where I currently reside. Lots of stuff to do, and a fun place to be while i'm young. I'll be ready to move on in a few years though, b/c it's too crowded and expensive for me to want to be here forever.

4. Bartlesville, OK (North of Tulsa, OK) - Was a good place growing up. Especially, looking back now. I wouldn't want to live there again though, just visit.

5. Houston, TX - People were nice, and I had a good time when I lived there. However, the humidity and the fact that it always seemed kind of like a dirty city will keep me from coming back.

1. Colorado Springs - love the weather & the mountains. Job was little shaky when I first moved out here so I'm only now really starting to enjoy. I now have a view of Pikes Peak and surrounding mountains from my office. People are friendly for the most part.

2 Austin - I had relatives living here so visited a lot as a kid. Started going to UT games in 1983 and throughout school and moved here when I got married. We moved to CO when my wife & I's jobs started going south and we were looking for a change of scenery.

3. Houston - lived here for 5 years after school. Lots to do, partied a lot with friends. My wife (girlfriend at the time) was mugged in a Randall's parking lot in the middle of the afternoon and the decision was eventually made to move to Austin. Weather sucks, humity & heat is aweful.

4. Victoria, TX - grew up here and most of my family still lives here. Not much to do for the younger crowd. Friends still justify living here by saying "it's a good place to raise a family". I think they are wrong; there are better places. Still, I love to hunt and fish and I can get to the coast in 30-45 minutes to fish. My family has land to hunt on and I have plenty of friends who have places to hunt & fish in the surrounding area. I just don't get back to TX as much to enjoy.

1. Robinson, TX - hometown
2. Austin, TX - duh
3. Parker (Denver), CO - great place for family - Denver sucked when I was single. The girls and Live Music scene are horrible compared to Texas.
4. Ft. Worth
5. Dallas

1. McKinney
2. Plano
3. Dallas
4. Reston, VA
5. Fort Worth
6. Nacogdoches

2) Virginia Beach - The beach is setup perfect, lots to do
3) Chicago - Great city, like the train, too big of a city
4) Houston - Some parts are great, some aren't, floods, rain

3. Mangalore, India
4. Madison, Wisconsin
5. Boise, Idaho -- only coz i was here for just 3 months
5. Bahrain
6. Libya
7. Atlanta

1. Tyler, TX - I loveEast Texas.
2. Weatherford, TX - Small town atmosphere with big city benefits.
3. Wharton, TX - Awesome place to be lazy, but when you are done being lazy, you are bored as **** with nothing withing reasonable driving distance.
4. Ft. Benning, GA - If I was older when I lived there, it would probably be lower but the forests that the military trained in were fun to play in every day.
5. San Antonio, TX - 14 years of my life in San Antonio. Ten of them good because I was in the little cocoon called public school and there were no expectations. 4 of them realizing that there are barely any attractive women who aren't nationals, dealing with reverse discrimination in the work place, and finding out that there is no such thing as a decent apartment. You are either living in **** for $600 or less a month or you are in a nice apartment for $1000 plus. Can't wait to transfer to UT!

1. Austin, TX
2. Berkeley, CA
3. NY, NY
4. Dallas

Guess which city I have to live in now. I'll give you a hint, I very rarely park my own car.

1. Austin- Great city with it's laid back Austin atmosphere. Only knock is the brutal August heat.

2. Amarillo- Some of the best people in the world live there.
Mountains in 4 hours was a plus.

3. Abilene- Discovered the meaning of depression here.
I just totally hated it there.
