Rank the B12 right now...

Junior has stepped up this year and is playing like the player Billy thought he could.

Davis has nice games but cant do anything with his back to the basket.

Sloan is consistently good, not great, good.

Holmes/Walkup are good role players, who COULD, blossom into stars.

Carter has not been the same player since Acie was here.

Roland is a liability on the offensive side of the ball.

I believe A&M will split with BU and the Horns. Even when the talent difference was huge we still played you guys close at home. And Baylor has turned into a fistfight...

You seem like a pretty realistic aggy with your assessment of your players, other than the idea that Walkup could be a future star which I find laughable. Other than that you clearly have a pretty good grasp on your team.

And you guys could beat us in CS. I don't think you will, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Where do you think A&M fits in? I have them as the 4th best team in the conference but finishing 5th due to KU's easier schedule.

I subscribe to Aggie Yell and I wear maroon shaded glasses compared to those guys.

I dont know how we will do. I honestly dont know what to think of Turgeon either.

I mean, how do we loose to Tceh by 20 and then beat them by 40?

In the words of a poster on AY: Turgeon basketball is like a box of chocolates.

You never know what you are going to get.

Here is the corollary to that rule: Turgeon gets better tournament time.

Bob- would I have bet my life on the Pittman transformation- no, but I was always goging to hope and I saw some flashes of what the coaches were talking about. Now, if you would have ever gtold me Connor Atchley would be a sgtarter, and a key to our success and beingg a top 5 type team I would have locked asked that you be locked up as a mental patient. Dex doesn't surprise me b/c he always had skills. BTW I think the scholarship question is resolved with him going pro this year. Just a guess.

The Pokes have been playing some pretty good ball the last couple of weeks (that myself and about 4,286 others have witnessed). This staff has managed to convince James Anderson that he indeed has the ability to score in ways other than spotting up behind the arc(s). His defensive play has really picked up as well.

If we manage to handle the Aggies on Saturday, I will go out on a limb and say we'll be in the tournament.

I thought we projected to be 1 over next year with Lucas coming onto campus- even with Damion James leaving (assuming brown made it to campus and was on schollie)

I don't think they would have gotten heavily involved with Lucas if Brown was definite. It was only reported that Brown was coming in, not that UT actually confirmed it.

1. Texas
2. Baylor
3. Kansas
4. OU
5. Texas A&M
6. Mizzou
7. Oklahoma State
8. Kansas State
9. Nebraska
10. Texas Tech
11. Iowa State
12. Colorado

I definitely give kudos to the BU athletics program, especially in men's basketball. I would never have imagined that they would ever be ranked. Considering what's happened to the program the past few years, it's amazing the turn-around they've done. Much props to the folks down in Wack-o, I mean Waco.

OU, Texas, Baylor, KU, Aggies, Missouri look like the cream of the crop. Horns not looking very good lately, not sure what is wrong but they are not looking strong right now.

?

OSU just handled A&M with ease and Mizzou dropped their opener in Lincoln...

I have a hard time including those two in the "cream".

And KU won't win many away from the Phog.
