A lot of history between the Rangers and Angels. Lackey was definitely throwing at Kinsler. I am more surprised that Padilla did not retaliate. It just shows this team has grown up a lot and winning changes everything.

And yes, CJ is NOT the man. Just hope he can be a stop-gap.

History = intention. How can you watch that and not see intent? He threw behind him on the first pitch and directly in his rib cage on the second one when he did not back off the plate.

HHD, I had the same thought. Do we know how injured he is? Let's hope he's okay...but he was in some serious pain.

CJ may not be the man, BUT, if he keeps that cap with the big bill pulled down over his eyes so that his only focus is home plate...and he keeps the ball down and fast...he is a GREAT stopgap.
