^That's a great point - he definitely fielded a well-prepared and well-coached team with lesser star ratings than others.

This observation tends to give me hope that our 22 D will be better — perhaps much better — than the past season. Like everyone else, my concern is lack of depth and perhaps top level talent at LB, and our lack of a disruptive rush end. But given what Patterson accomplished at TCU, if he’s allowed to be deeply engaged, perhaps he can work his magic this season at Texas.doing more with less talent, much of which was caused by his ability to develop players.
The best part is...all 64 of them were against aggy.
2015I think the ok state game was controlled by refs.
I will always think that. Don't know what year that was.
What about Switzer?Bo Pelini is the sorriest excuse for a human being to ever roam a sideline, and yes I have met Howard Schnellenberger, Tom Osborne, Frank Beamer, & Dennis Erickson.
I know that today's media is full of clowns with no credibility, but can any of them be stupid enough to print anything that worthless piece of **** says?
Sabre thinks Switzer is a wonderful guy. What about Switzer?
Know much about him, Sabre?
Know much about him, Sabre?

Bijan dragging chains...
Bijan probably has muscles in his ears.He needs more work on his quads. No definition.
That's a dangerous thought. No way in hell those cretins in Las Colinas know who may or may not be "rivals". Bowelsby probably thinks Texas is a huge rival of UCF, OU is a rival with Cincy, and Iowa State hates Third Ward.
Please, Chris, just say "NO" to playing the wannabes.
Right on, Moon. So, Riley left because his players sucked?
"I’ve walked into four playoffs, and I’ve never had better than maybe the third-best roster [of the four teams],” Riley told Dodd. “Every other year, we were four of four. We had really good rosters, but they weren’t the same. … I can’t imagine that there could be a setting that we could build a better roster than we can here.”
Lincoln Riley sites roster building as a major reason for leaving Oklahoma for USC
I’ve walked into four playoffs
Seems like they are angling for a neutral field instead of Austin for the first game. They are throwing this out there for leverage because they won’t accept Austin. Now, it would be hilarious...and soo aggy...for us to end up hosting them first in spite of their balleyhooing.
..would be a perfect start to our time with them in SECville..like old times w baby brother
So can he win big time at USC?
Will he be able to cheat more there?
They'll play where the SEC tells them to So will we. We'll also play whoever the Big 12 decides until we leave. Why would they do us any favors?Seems like they are angling for a neutral field instead of Austin for the first game. They are throwing this out there for leverage because they won’t accept Austin.
Im not sure Linc could have done any better in terms of an easy path to the Playoff.Yes and yes
The alums have more money, are more sophisticated in ways to cheat, but are less fanatical that those he left behind.
His "big rivals"? UCLA is an afterthought and is lucky to draw 40,000 in the Rose Bowl; ND will eventually catchup, but USC will have more speed and better coaching.
