There was a case here in Houston where the anesthesiologist screwed up on a 19 year old having her tonsils removed. She was a vegetable and brain dead within hours; required 24 hour care and later passed. She was already on welfare and Medicaid. The doctor in question is still practicing after having to take a few hours of continuing education. Hospital is closed.

Of course, the Texas legislature limited the amount of damages awarded in a malpractice suit to $250,000 per defendant. Woman's bills were that every two weeks.

Normally, this type of doctor moves to Nevada where a huge percentage of those practicing in Nevada have had their license revoked in another state.

But Flaker Mayfold is not in the same conversation as Manning, Elway, Montana, Brady, or Staubach. He might be at the level of Johnny Football and a half step up from Ryan Leaf and Todd Marinovich, so should we give him a break on the dancing?

He's now got 54 picks in 58 career starts. Be funny if he ended up with more picks than starts by the end of the year, although that's pretty unlikely.
