After she attended a few meetings and participated in some of their fundraisers she confided in me one day at lunch. "My son has joined a cult, and I'm his enabler". I have run into 3+ aggys from my network since the end of the regular season, and each of them said almost the exact same thing/words to the effect of: “I’m so glad tu didn’t win that game against Georgia - that would’ve been terrible to see y’all come in the first year and win the SEC when we haven’t been able to 12 years.” I told them good luck in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Great question, LC. If I were making the rule, I specify that the portal opens 24 hours after the completion of the last bowl game. That would solve that problem (no doubt, creating other problems).
