Yes, I agree it is a rival game for them not us but will be a tough game since they hate us so much.Rival games? In whose mind? Both Ark and aTM aspire to achieve rivalry status. Form year to year, based on circumstances, one or the other is consequential. But, rivalry. In their minds perhaps.
He has to know his stock has dropped. Not sure how I feel if he decides on returning.
Agree but I think there are plenty of coaches who wouldn't mind having him as their quarterback next year.I like Quinn Ewers. I'm glad he's a Longhorn. IMO, one more year of college won't change him enough to be a first round draft pick. He has a knack for getting injured. I'm not sure we'll ever see his full capability because of that. And what top-level team would take a risk, even for one year, of offering him and thinking he would be the starter? Where does that leave him? If he's doing it for the love of college football, more power to him. But I don't think another year makes a difference in his professional football career.
Agreed but my question regards timing. If a player, any player, stays through the NC game- class will have started and most portal spots will have been filled ,leaving fewer opportunities for the player. Also will schools allow late enrollment for such players? If we make it to the NC game, my guess is he goes pro. If we get bounced early, he’ll definitely consider staying another year. Where?
"enrollment".... hahaha. We don't need no stinkin' classes.Agreed but my question regards timing. Why do you think it's doubtful?I'd take that report on QE with a huge grain of salt. Not only because it is some random posting on the interweb but it says he has an offer on the table. Does that mean he is actively looking for a deal in college somewhere? Doubtful in my eyes.
The answer is clearly "no" and NOT because Ewers sucks but because Ewers at Texas would destroy team cohesion and cause what could be a generational talent to leave. It seems pretty clear to me.I wonder if Sark even wants Ewers back or prefers to hand it over to Arch at this point. Or if the conversations about 2025 have already taken place some time ago? I suspect they have.
Because I think it's a random internet clickbait story. Because QE has shown no reason or intention to stay in college rather than continue pursuing his dream of being a pro QB. His history shows that he wants to get to the NFL on a fast track (left HS early to Ohio State). Why do you think it's doubtful?
I'm sure he wants to go to the nfl but he might be considering a fall back position, which is one more year of college ball somewhere other than Texas. What is pretty clear to me is that he won't be at Texas next year.Because I think it's a random internet clickbait story. Because QE has shown no reason or intention to stay in college rather than continue pursuing his dream of being a pro QB. His history shows that he wants to get to the NFL on a fast track (left HS early to Ohio State).

It also will not cure his depth perception problem or make him any smarter.I like Quinn Ewers. I'm glad he's a Longhorn. I hate to admit it or ask just how old you really are but I'm from pretty, pretty rural Texas and I've never heard of this "Arp Stock Market". East Texas.... might have known it. There are probably all kinds of "stock markets" out there. ;-)No mention of the Arp Stock Market?
If everyone so young they have never heard of the Arp Stock Market?
